Beginning the testing phase of the A-State Science Support System, the worms have been sent to Arkansas State University and are currently undergoing numerous tests to determine the living environment needed in the International Space Station. These tests will include running worms through the centrifuge to make sure they can handle the gravitational force that will be applied to them during liftoff as well as various maturity tests at different temperature levels to determine the optimal climate for pre, intra and post take-off.
